Grayslake District 127 Ranked 16th Best in the State!

Grayslake Community High School District 127 was recently ranked 16 th best high school district in the State of Illinois by Niche, an online site which offers rankings and statistics on a variety of school and community-related resources from across the nation. District 127 was one of 396 school districts included in the rankings.

According to Niche’s website,, they arrived at their findings after collecting and analyzing information based on statistics, student and parent reviews, and expert insights. Ranking factors include state test scores, college readiness, graduation rates, SAT/ACT scores, teacher quality, student and parent reviews, and more.

Starting this week District 127 students will be able to use text messaging to reach out for help for themselves or friends at any time of day or night. Text-a-Tip allows teens to find anonymous, immediate help if they are struggling with drug or alcohol abuse, depression, difficult family situations, bullying, or any of the many challenges they face today.
