Dear Future Rams, Parents/Guardians.
Welcome to Grayslake Central High School!
We will be having placement testing (PSAT 8) for the Class of 2024 on Saturday, October 19, 2019. The PSAT 8 is our placement test required for all incoming freshman. We ask that students and families make every effort to participate in this assessment so we can accurately place students into courses, particularly if honors classes are desired for freshman year. Additionally, students who score below the College Board benchmark will receive academic intervention during their lunch hour freshman year in math and/or reading.
Details are as follows:
Time: 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. – Students with regular timed testing
Accommodated Testing 1.5: 8:00 a.m. - 12:40 p.m. Approximate end time
Accommodated Testing 2.0: 8:00 a.m. - 1:45 p.m. Approximate end time
Makeup Testing: Will take place at Grayslake North on 10/26 at 8:00 a.m.
Supplies: Students should bring a couple #2 sharpened wooden pencils with erasers and a calculator.
If you are unable to attend the testing on October 19, 2019, please complete the following form to test on Saturday, October 26, 2019 at 8:00 a.m. at Grayslake NORTH High School. Deadline to complete this form is October 11, 2019 at 12:00 p.m.
