Wellness Day is a school-wide event that takes place every April at Grayslake Central High School. The purpose of this program is for each student to participate in breakout sessions to learn ways to live a healthy lifestyle. Each year, students get to choose from over 50 sessions that are taught by Grayslake Central staff and community volunteers. Each student picks two sessions from a variety of topics including exercise, nutrition, civic engagement, diversity, mental health advocacy, as well as other hobbies and recreational activities.

The mission of Wellness Day is to provide opportunities for students to try new activities that will promote a healthy lifestyle and encourage students to make positive connections with adults in both the school and Grayslake community.
