Morning Announcements

Tuesday, May 21, 2019

Hey Ram Fans. Looking for something to do tonight?  Come watch the boys volleyball team take on Grayslake North at Antioch at 6:30 in the regional semifinals

Have you ever wondered what it’s like to spin a color guard flag? Do you want to learn basic guard technique in preparation for next year’s marching season? On May 21st, GCHS’s color guard is holding a basics clinic at 4:30 pm in the band room to recruit new members for the upcoming season. Please wear clothes that are comfortable to move around in. Please email Jennica Sajor at jsajo141@d127.org if you have any questions or concerns.

The 2019 edition of Inkblots has arrived! Please see Mrs. Rush in the English office for your copy. The cost is $12.

Did you know that 85% of self-made millionaires read at least two books per month?  Did you also know there is a strong correlation between reading for pleasure and lower levels of stress and depression?  Why not give it a try this summer?  Our goal is simple: read *any* book -- fiction, non-fiction, graphic novel, etc. -- and help us log 500 books read in GCHS by August. Because, summer is fun -- reading should be, too.

Attention Seniors, if you have not picked up your graduation cap and gown, please see Ms. Becker in 2050.  Caps and gowns are required to participate in the Commencement Ceremony on May 23rd.

Attention students – please check Lost & Found if you’re missing anything!  Also – your hall and PE locker needs to be cleaned out by Friday, May 31st.
