Tomorrow, all juniors will be participating in a practice SAT. Please remember to bring #2 wooden pencils, a calculator, and your admission ticket. All other items should be left in your locker. Please report promptly to your testing location tomorrow. Remember, no electronic devices are allowed!
Hey Rockstars! Do you play guitar, bass, drums, piano, or sing? Are you looking for a bunch of people to jam with after school? If so, then we want you to come to Open Jam on Monday, January 27th in room 1950 at 3 o'clock. We will be discussing GCHS's newest club and playing some music. Open Jam is open to all GCHS students however, you must provide your own instruments. See Mr. Gallagher or Mr. Ellis for more details.
Freshman 9th Hour is back! Stop by the LRC between 3-4 pm to get English help from Ms. Lobb or math help from Mr. Hatzer. If you need a ride home, the activity bus leaves at 3:50. Start the semester off by getting the help you need to be successful!
Congratulations to Senior, Sylvia Kendera. Her original artwork based on a Spanish literature piece will be published in the Spanish Magazine Albricias in March. The magazine contains student created essays, poetry, articles, photography and artwork created by members of the Spanish National Honor Society and is published twice a year.
International Club will meet today after school in room 2:50pm for our 2nd round of International Trivia as well as a Chinese New Year themed activity and a treat. All are welcome!
Attention all Juniors! Registration for the SAT Test Prep Class here at GCHS is now open. Classes start on February 3rd and run until April 2nd. The cost is $125. Students can sign up by following the SAT Prep link on the GCHS website. If you have any questions, contact Mr. Farrell or Mrs. Rush in the English office.
All boys interested in track and field please sign up on R-School and have an updated physical on file with the Athletic office. The 1st practice is today. Please see Coach Pitt, Centella or Fujiu if you need more details.

Any girls interested in competing on the girls track and field team the season will start today. Please make sure you get signed up on R-school and have an up to date physical.
