Meanwhile, Grayslake Central's students transformed old t-shirts into braided dog toys for local animal shelters. 🐶❤️ 💌 And that's not all! Students from both schools spread kindness by writing heartfelt letters to seniors and making friendship bracelets for our community. It's about empathy, connection, and making a positive impact. 📝💕 🌍 These activities are just the beginning of a semester filled with growth, learning, and responsibility. We are conducting a research project to learn more about what our community thinks about important issues here. D127 is holding a series of input sessions and would love for you to participate. Community members must not have any students attending D127 schools.

Thursday 12/7 is the Winter Art Show, CoffeeHouse in the Black Box Theater, and Cups & Cookies for a Cause in the Art Hallway! For $5 purchase a student handmade cup, enjoy student-made cookies, and a cup of cocoa or coffee while viewing the artwork! All proceeds donated to the Avon Food Pantry. We hope to see you there!

District 127 wishes you a very Happy Thanksgiving! Thanksgiving Break is Wednesday, November 22 - Friday, November 24. School resumes on Monday, November 27, 2023.

There will be an Informational Meeting for the France and Spain Trip in March 2025. This trip is open to all French and Spanish students, if you are interested, please attend on Wednesday, Dec. 6th at 6:30 in Room C105 at Grayslake North. A Zoom link will also be provided later.
